It’s our pleasure to share with you that Mrs. Dana Carey has been named the 2023-2024 BHPOY for the District!

Mrs. Carey is a school counselor at North and has been with the school district since 2016. She serves in many roles at North Elementary including PBIS coordinator where she supports the social-emotional and behavioral well-being of students.  She also serves our students through the Food Bank Backpack Program, the HUGS mentoring program, and with a virtual Counselor’s Corner for families.

We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to Mrs. Carey as well as all of our nominees for BHPOY.  These professionals demonstrate the commitment and sacrifice many make to support social-emotional and behavioral health in Lake Forest!
