Cheerleading Tryouts for the 2024 - 2025 season will take place on Monday, July 8th, Tuesday, July 9th, and Wednesday, July 10th at Lake Forest High School in the Auxiliary gym, from 3 pm to 5 pm. All interested athletes must have an updated physical dated after April 1st, 2024. If you do not have an updated physical you will not be permitted to tryout at this time. "On June 19, 1865, U.S. Maj. Gen. Gordon Granger issued General Order No. 3, which informed the people of Texas that all enslaved people were now free. This day has come to be known as Juneteenth, a combination of June and 19th. It is the oldest known celebration commemorating the end of slavery in the United States."
