Nominations are now being accepted for the Lake Forest Athletic Hall of Fame. If you would like to nominate a former Lake Forest High School Athlete to be inducted into the Lake Forest Athletic Hall of Fame please complete the attached application and submit it by October 15th, 2022. Please provide as much information as possible regarding your Athletic Hall of Fame nominee. Good evening, Lake Forest High School Class of 2023! On Monday, September 26, at 6PM, the LFHS counseling department will host the annual Senior College Night for parents and students. This in-person presentation is intended to educate families about the college application process, financial aid, and other trade school and military opportunities available. The Financial Aid process and Delaware’s SEED and Inspire scholarship will also be explained. The auditorium doors will open at 5:45 and the event will begin promptly at 6PM. The presentation will be recorded and made available via Schoology and social media. All are invited. Thank you.

Any 11th-grade student interested in taking the PSAT/NMSQT must sign-up by September 13. This optional assessment allows students to become familiar with the format of the SAT and provides eligibility for the National Merit Scholarship Program. The cost is $18. The deadline to sign up is September 13th, 2022. The PSAT/NMSQT will be administered on October 25th, 2022. Please contact your school counselor to sign up. Any student planning to play football must have an updated DIAA Sports Physical on the correct form turned in to the main office by Thursday, August 4th in order to practice on Monday, August 8th. Physicals cannot be turned into your coaches. All other fall athletes must have a physical turned in to the main office on or before Wednesday, August 10th, or to our athletic trainer, Tessa Portlock, at the Fall Sports Meeting on August 10th at 6:30 pm. Please see www.spartans-sports.com for the correct forms and information.

LFHS: Good evening, Lake Forest High School! Please continue for our final message of the 2021-22 school year! Congratulations to all students and families. This school year has concluded, and we made it through a full year of face-to-face learning. This is certainly an accomplishment. The main office will be open Monday-Thursday, 7am-3pm during the summer. Underclassmen, there are a few unsubmitted laptops. If you are in possession of your student laptop/charger, please bring them to the main office between the hours of 7am-3pm. Laptops require necessary updates for next year. AP and Summer Success Academy students, someone will be in contact with you about a loaner. Seniors, links to the pictures from senior awards and graduation have been sent via your Schoology account. There will also be an additional message following this one with the same information. We here at LFHS hope everyone has a happy and safe summer.
