GOVERNOR CARNEY'S SUMMER FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM Delaware high school students beginning their junior or senior year in the Fall of 2024 are eligible to apply for the Governor’s Summer Fellowship. This prestigious flagship program is geared towards preparing Delaware students for innovative and compelling work in education, government, or their communities. Congratulations to Gabriella Layne on another awesome performance this past weekend with the Delaware All-State Senior Band. Gabby was 1 of 77 students who passed the audition process and gained acceptance into the group. After spending two days rehearsing in Wilmington, the students put on a spectacular concert with guest conductor Dr. Chad Nicholson on Saturday night. The concert was fantastic, all of the students did a wonderful job! This concert was an excellent way to end Music in Our Schools Month. Thank you to Gabby and all the student musicians that make Lake Forest an excellent place for Music Education.
