May is "Get Caught Reading Month". If Central students have their favorite books on hand for the month of May and are caught reading one of them, their photo and name will be added to Central's site. They can also earn a free ice cream token from Byler's. We hope to catch a lot of readers!

More students were caught reading from Mrs. Moore and Mrs. Yeager’s classes, as well as Mrs. Lewis’ literature circle group.

Students from Mrs. Tucker’s class were caught reading outside on this beautiful day! They are working with Mrs. Lewis as they read The One and Only Ivan.
Karina was caught reading “Sarah, Plain and Tall” after she finished her Math Smarter Balanced Assessment this afternoon. She was excited to earn her ice cream token from Byler’s!
