Lake Forest is proud to have had 11 staff members go Over the Edge for Special Olympics Delaware. This fundraiser raises money and awareness for this organization, all while bringing our community and district together to support a common cause.

Over the Edge is a fundraiser to rappel down a 17 story (222 feet) building and gives our students an opportunity to see their staff members challenge themselves and be able to relate to overcoming those challenges that they may face everyday. Promoting inclusion, respect and teamwork as one, leading by example. These 11 staff members worked together to raise over $17,000 and then conquered their fears to make it all the way down the building!

Thank you to all of our Sponsors, donors, and the Lake Forest School District for your continued support in our fundraising, as well as our Special Olympics program throughout the entire district. As director Jon Buzby stated “Lake Forest is a role model for this organization”! It’s a great day to be a proud Spartan!
