Thank you for everyone's support in our Special Olympics Fundraiser this week! It was a close race, but Mr. Sheehan’s bucket collected 40 cents more than Mrs. Marquis’. We raised a total of $580.64!! This means that Mr. Sheehan had to kiss Maisy May the pig! She wasn’t as cooperative as we had hoped, but Mr. Sheehan got down in the hay and attempted to give her a big kiss on the snout! We settled on a couple kisses on the head since Maisy wasn’t on board for a smooch on the snout. Mrs. Marquis was such a good sport, she even got close to Maisy May for a kiss too! Save the Date - May 6, 2023
Don’t forget to set aside May 6 2023 for a couple of VERY important events. I Love Lake Forest Day is at Lake Forest High School, and a referendum election will be held at North, South and Central Elementary Schools and the Frederica Firehouse. Come to the High School for some great food, fun, and entertainment and then vote YES to help Lake Forest remain the model of excellence in education!
Just a friendly reminder if your child is not feeling well or awaiting COVID test results, please err on the side of caution and keep them home.
